The Elephant House is NOT the home of the Harry Potter novels, that title belongs to a cafe in Nicolson Street (which is now a Chinese restaurant). Rowling wrote parts of some later novels at the Elephant House.

In 1980 I joined my husband Henry when he was stationed in Asschaffenburg. We lived there for 3yrs and rented an apartment off post from a German couple. We loved it! Aschaffenburg is such a beautiful town with places to go and fun things to do. My husband and I hope to take our 2 grown children and granddaughter's to Aschaffenburg one day

Minneapolis in southern Minnesota is colder in winter than Toronto and southern Ontario in general, but hotter in summer. Toronto is on average like Chicago in winter.
